Hotel reviews tell you about the breakfast, the lobby and the thread count. They almost never tell you the one thing you’ll deal with every single morning: the shower.

Is the pressure a fire hose or a sad drizzle? Does the hot water arrive in seconds, or after you’ve aged a year? Will the bathroom floor turn into a paddling pool? Is the glass panel only half a panel? Are there three mystery dials and no instructions?

RateMyHotelShower is where guests answer those questions, honestly and (ideally) hilariously. It’s free to read, free to post, and built by people who’ve stood shivering at 6am waiting for the water to warm up.

Our hotel directory is built from open data published by the Overture Maps Foundation and OpenStreetMap contributors. If your hotel is missing, you can add it.
